About Molly Beverage

Molly Beverage Molly Beverage offers a complete Chinese medical practice that integrates acupuncture, Chinese herbs, massage and Qigong instruction with a focus on helping each individual on their journey to wellness through harmonizing the body, mind and spirit.

Chinese medicine is a complete medical system that has prevented, diagnosed and treated illness for over 3,000 years. It is based on theories for restoring harmony in the life force of the body, called Qi, by using acupuncture and Chinese herbs. These unblock the body and allow the Qi to circulate naturally and smoothly through the body in pathways called meridians. These meridians traverse and nourish your body as streams and rivers traverse and nourish the earth. Rivers can flood, dry up, become dammed, or become poisoned — metaphors for what can happen to the vital energy in your body. When this happens, your body may show distress signals in the form of symptoms. In addition, stress can cause the Qi to slow down, leading to depression and anxiety.

Acupuncture and other aspects of Chinese medicine are known to be helpful in relieving physical complaints. They can also help balance our minds and spirits so that all of our symptoms are alleviated and we are able to take better care of ourselves. Treatment allows you to experience a greater sense of ease in life, and this enables you to deal with the ups and downs of life in a more balanced manner. The treatment process also helps you to develop greater awareness of your lifestyle patterns and acupuncture supports you as you choose new, healthier patterns of living. Many people find that once their symptoms have improved, they continue to come for treatment on a maintenance basis in order to keep their life force flowing smoothly. Others may return seasonally or whenever needed for a “tune-up.” These therapies also work excellently as preventive methods of health care.
